Baptist Temple’s Response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic

Updated on Thursday, April 2, 2020

Dear Baptist Temple Family and Friends,
Due to the continued COVID-19 crisis, directives from local and State governments, and with the greatest concern for our congregation and for our neighbors, we have made the decision to continue the cancellation of all activities until further notice.
Specifically, we will not meet for worship or Bible studies in the Temple on Sundays. In addition, Sanctuary Choir, Beginning Meditation Experience, Trinity Classical School, Iglesia Bautista Mana, community meetings, and any and all other activities are cancelled until further notice.
That said, we are providing two new ways for you to stay connected with your church during this crisis: Online opportunities for worship and for giving.  You may now watch a Sunday morning worship service online, and you may now give your tithes and offerings online through our website or by text message.  Look for additional information on our homepage.
We will keep you updated daily on Facebook, and weekly by email and our website. We humbly ask those of you who can help to please contact church members and regular attenders who may not have internet access and help them stay informed. Call them, mail them a printed copy of announcements, and email us at if you know of a specific need among our congregation.
Thank you for your prayers, your faithfulness, and your love for our church and for our neighbors.
May the peace of Christ be with you all, and may God bless us and keep us.
