Join us for this non-denominational gentle introduction to practicing meditation.  This is a meditating class for non-meditators.

Donw-to-earth voice and great first app to try. On this app, find guided meditations of varying lengths led by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn. He is founder o the world-renowned Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Clinic, and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society.

Learn to Meditate: Meditation Oasis

This is a great introduction and instruction to meditation by Mary and Richard Maddux.

Simply Being:  Guide Meditation

Also by Mary and Richard Maddux, this app comes with a bundle of supporting apps which are good to try.

Centering Prayer

This app contains an adjustable timer, as well as opening and closing prayers you can read before and after you meditation. As assortment of sounds and backgrounds allow you to choose the type of environment you want top create.

Insight Timer

This is a popular app that gives you the option of guided or non-guided meditations. You can choose silence, sounds and/or music. For guided, you can search by topic like: healing, breath awareness, stress reduction, etc…
